Cliff and I volunteer for different activities that are held at Lone Oak Campsites in East Canaan, CT, to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other charities. Another activity that we volunteer for is their "Veterans Breakfast" to thank the men and women for their military service, by serving them.

Yearly, the Kiwanis Club Foundation Of Greater Danbury erects the "Flags Of Valor," which are on display for a month on the lawn of the New Milford Historical Society. We sponsor several military veterans that we wish to honor with one of these keepsake flags. The veterans name and military background info is proudly displayed on a yellow ribbon with each flag. When the flags are taken down, we pick up the keepsake flags and present them to each vet we sponsored.
